Scrappin' The Day Away

On Saturday (July 30) I had my Scrappy Sisters (Misty, Sara, Jill, Sasha, Nicole, and Crystal) over to scrap the day away. We started around 9ish in the morning and scrapped until 8 or 9 that night. We had originally planned to attend an event in Evansville that day for a 12 hour scrap, but it was unexpectedly cancelled. I was at least 7 months behind in my scrapbooking, and I was sure that other were too. So we all decided that we still needed to get together and get something done. So I volunteered to host it. We had a great time! Although we didn't have all the vendors and other "fun" things to do. I almost liked  not having all those distractions better. I was able to get a whole lot more done. I set out with the goal of not quitting for the day until I was completely finished with our 2010 album. And surprisingly it only took until 8 or so until I had it pretty well done. Once I put it all in the album together I had a few areas that I needed to add a page. So for the most part 2010 is in the books! We had lots of yummy snacks that kept us going for the day and a Subway sandwich platter for lunch and dinner. I am so excited to have it done and very ready to get a start on 2011. So now I am searching through the hundreds of photos that I have taken so far and picking out the ones that I need to print and figuring out what sizes to print. I am also trying out a few different printing companies online to see who has the best pictures at the best prices. I want a more professional look for my photos. So I am excited to get them in so I can compare and get more printed. After the day of scrapping we all decided that we are going to have to get together a least once a month and hopefully that we encourage us to get more done! So we have August 20th picked as out next Scrappin' The Day Away!
